Telegram from Anthony Eden [later Lord Avon, Foreign Secretary] in Athens [Greece] to WSC marked "Personal" stating that Sir David Waley [Principal Assistant Secretary, HM Treasury] has advised on the Greek economy; that he and Harold MacMillan [later Lord Stockton, British High Commissioner for Italy] are leaving for Rome [Italy] that day; that the supply situation is improving; but that he has fears over Greece's future stability.
