Letter from Lieutenant Frank de Vine Hunt (Upper War Room) [Map Room Staff] to John Martin [Prime Minister's Principal Private Secretary] enclosing a Universal Projector Docket and asking him whether [1st] Lord Cherwell [earlier F E Lindemann, Prime Minister's Personal Assistant] or WSC would be able to comment on it, stating: that the Hydrographic Department approves of the proposal and will prepare an experimental global map on transparent paper and that the artificial silk manufacturer would provide the necessary apparatus if WSC was interested but adding that the apparatus would only be a small beginning but that there could be far reaching results Signed.
