Note prepared by the Foreign Office regarding the Government's plans to assist the Jewish people stressing that difficulties such as transport present a problem but that they have had some success in assisting in the transfer of Jewish refugees from Turkey, Hungary and Romania. Plans are currently being made to transfer 4500 Jewish refugees from Bulgaria to Palestine but transport problems make this a slow process and that action is being taken to gain Allied co-operation on other measures.
