Scope and Contents

Telegram from WSC [Moscow, Soviet Union] to Deputy Prime Minister [Clement Attlee], War Cabinet and others concerned marked "personal and secret" reporting in detail on his second day of discussions with Vyacheslav Molotov [Soviet Foreign Minister] and Stalin, and reciting the translated text of the Soviet Aide-Memoire of 13 Aug and WSC's reply to it Heavily annotated in red and blue ink. The red annotations would appear to relate to passages in WSC's "The Second World War" and were probably added in c1948-1954].
