Telegram from WSC (Washington [United States]) to Deputy Prime Minister [Clement Attlee] marked "personal and secret" reporting the offer by General George Marshall [Chief of Staff United States Army] of an additional group of heavy bombardment aircraft, which will depart from Florida [United States] for Cairo [Egypt] in squadrons beginning on 29 Jun, and asking him to repeat this information to General Claude Auchinleck [Commander in Chief Middle East] and Air Marshal Arthur Tedder [Air Officer Commanding in Chief Middle East].
