Scope and Contents
Telegram from WSC to the governments of Australia and New Zealand marked "personal and most secret" reporting on the battle in the Middle East: comments on Australian and New Zealand Divisions in the Middle East; comments on the present situation and gives details of the reinforcements of troops , tanks , guns, and aircraft that have been sent to Egypt; comments on preparations to defend the Nile Delta; comments on heavy losses of convoys to Soviet Union and on aid given to Middle East by Stalin; comments on the support of the House of Commons and the goodwill of the Australian and New Zealand governments and people.
