Telegram from WSC to Minister of State in the Middle East [Richard Casey] marked "personal and secret" expressing his appreciation of the role Casey has played in the change of command and urging him to insist upon the mobilization of the rearward services: "No general evacuation, no playing for safety. Egypt must be held at all costs.".
