Telegram from WSC to General Sir Archibald Wavell [Commander-in-Chief, India] marked "most secret": asks to be sent the plan for the counter offensive in Upper Burma [later Myanmar]; comments on communications between Wavell and Admiral Sir James Somerville [Commander-in-Chief, Eastern Fleet]; expresses concern that Wavell has received news of damage to HMS Ramillies in Madagascar as this was to be kept secret; states that there was never any intention of sending all the landing craft and troops used in "Ironclad" [codename for operation against Madagascar] to Australia; comments on a malaria outbreak among 13th Brigade.
