Minute from WSC to Secretary of State for the Colonies [1st Lord Moyne, earlier Walter Guinness] commenting on [Colin] Davidson [Clerk to the House of Lords, becoming the Duke of Windsor's Press representative], asking about "Sir Edward" [Peacock, Windsor's financial adviser], and suggesting he will not reply to HRH [Windsor, earlier Edward, Prince of Wales and King Edward VIII, Governor and Commander in Chief of the Bahamas]. Annotated with note by [John] Martin [Prime Minister's Private Secretary] explaining that this is a reply to Moyne's minute of 28 March [ CHAR 20/31A/53].
