Letter from Neville Chamberlain [Lord President of the Council] (Privy Council Office) to WSC agreeing to withdraw his objection to [David] Lloyd George being included in the War Cabinet, on two conditions: 1) Lloyd George's personal assurance that "he will drop his personal feud and prejudice against me and will work with me for the national interest" and; 2) that the anti-Conservative campaign being carried out in the Daily Herald, in the News Chronicle and by some members of Parliament shall be stopped.
