Letter from Admiral of the Fleet 1st Lord Fisher [1st Sea Lord] to WSC [First Lord of the Admiralty] on Vice- Admiral Sir [Frederick] Doveton Sturdee's success in the Battle of the Falklands, urging WSC not to be too exultant until the full details were known. Fisher also comments on the escape of German ships from New York, adding that the United States was helping German colliers. [Hand-written, with typescript copy].
