Scope and Contents

Letter from Sir Abe Bailey (38 Bryanston Square [London]) to WSC, thanking him for his letter and hoping that "D" [? Diana Churchill, earlier Diana Bailey, later Diana Sandys, recently divorced from Bailey's son John Bailey] will be happy. He also wants a copy of a letter, which he is anxious to have published in "S A" [? South Africa], adding that "Going for the big thing is what we must always aim at". In a postscript he writes "I am a funny person when once I have liked a person whatever he or she may do my love and affection remain". Manuscript.
