Scope and Contents

Letter from 1st Lord Camrose [Editor-in-Chief of the Sunday Times and Daily Telegraph, earlier Sir William Berry], to WSC, regretting that he cannot use Oliver Locker Lampson as a columnist in the Sunday Times, as he is already partially committed to John Buchan [later Lord Tweedsmuir]. Camrose adds that the dropping of Locker Lampson's work from the Daily Mail and Evening News had nothing to do with the trouble between Camrose himself and 1st Lord Rothermere [earlier Sir Harold Harmsworth]. Camrose then says that WSC can rely upon him to do all that he can in regard to air parity, and that the Daily Telegraph has kept well up with the subject.
