Scope and Contents
Letter from Lord Derby, Derby House, London to WSC, on allegations of suppression of evidence of Manchester Chamber of Commerce to the Joint Select Committee on Indian Constitutional Reform. Stating that he did not alter their evidence, and that although he was in touch with his "Lancashire friends", the evidence was dealt with by a Special Committee of the Chamber of Commerce, who altered their original report, largely as a result of information from their Mission in India.
