Scope and Contents
Letter from Sir James Grigg, Financial Member of Council, India to WSC, thanks for gift of Marlborough Vol.II, giving his views on the political situation in India, stating that he should not readily assume that the Muslims were Britain's eternal friends: "there is a damned sight too much pan-Islamic nonsense flying about out here and the Muslims are only being our friends for what they can get". Also that Provincial Autonomy alone was not the solution to the problem. Also giving account of week long trip round WSC's "old haunts" on the Frontier.
