Letter from [WSC] to [the Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin, earlier Edward Wood, later Lord Halifax] agreeing to see Edward Villiers [President of the European Association of India], disclaiming any personal feelings of hostility towards Irwin but regretting the part he has played in events in India and predicting that the controversy will persist for several years.
