Scope and Contents

Letter from G N Andrews [Indian Empire Society] (Windsor Hotel, Lancaster Gate, [London]) to William Wedgwood Benn [Secretary of State for India, later 1st Lord Stansgate] (India Office) criticising Edwin Montagu [former Secretary of State for India] and others for encouraging unrepresentative extreme nationalists in India, describing his own inauguration of a patriotic movement in Calcutta to campaign for better government, asserting that the Round Table Conference's "mischievously fantastic" proposals should be withdrawn and that Parliament should establish an imperial free trade policy to frustrate the plans of a small group of Jewish international financiers whose attempts to upset the world order will lead to the wreaking of indiscriminate revenge on the whole Jewish race.
