Letter from WSC to Sir [John] Mark Hunter [Secretary of the Indian Empire Society] reporting that Sir John Simon and, probably, Sir Robert Horne, will not be attending [the Indian Empire Society meeting at the Royal Albert Hall, London] and suggesting that 2nd Lord Ampthill [former Viceroy and Governor-General of India, earlier Arthur Russell], 1st Lord Lloyd, 1st Lord Burnham [former member of the Indian Statutory Commission, earlier Harry Lawson], Edward Cadogan, the 9th Duke of Marlborough [earlier Lord Blandford], John Gretton and Sir Michael O'Dwyer [former Lieutenant-Governor of the Pubjab, India] could be invited to attend in various capacities and that publicity plans should be discussed with the Daily Mail.
