Circular letter from W O Burrows, assistant secretary of the Federation of Lace and Embroidery Employers' Associations, enclosing and commenting on CHAR 2/173/166-167 and describing the damage which the British lace industry would suffer if the United States government increased its customs duty on lace imports.

Conditions Governing Access

For conservation reasons, the fragile originals are no longer issued to researchers.

This digital edition is open to researchers unless otherwise marked in the catalogue. Some material has been closed by the Cabinet Office or by Churchill Archives Centre in accordance with data protection legislation.
