Scope and Contents

Letter from Frederick Guest (7 Aldford Street, Park Lane, [London]) to WSC attacking David Lloyd George's intention of using his followers to hold the balance of power between the Conservatives and Labour after the next election, announcing that he has persuaded ten other members to pledge themselves to support the forming of a Conservative government after the election, stressing the need to keep this secret to avoid Liberal opposition, and asking WSC to inform Conservative Central Office of this pledge.
