Letter from Hazel, Lady Lavery (Royal Albion Hotel, Brighton, [Sussex]) to WSC on: the campaign of E Blythe, the Irish minister of finance, against Jeremiah McVeagh, who has joined with the supporters of John Redmond, who are making life difficult for the Irish Free State [later Ireland] government and are indirectly helping the supporters of Eamon De Valera, who has received funds from the United States. Reports that Sir John Lavery is getting well and is talking of painting Brighton Pavilion.
