Scope and Contents
Letter from [WSC] (Unionist Central Committee Rooms, 66 High road, South Woodford, Essex) to Godfrey W James, chairman of the Pontypool Unionist Association [Monmouthshire, Wales] asserting that whereas Socialist leaders have declared their intention of destroying the Liberal Party, the Conservatives have in some constituencies withdrawn in favour of Liberal candidates, and that the ideological gulf between Liberalism and Socialism is unbridgeable whilst Liberals and Conservatives share the same basic values. Another copy, sent to another recipient, at CHAR 2/135/99-100.
