Letter from "Archie" [Archibald Sinclair, later 1st Lord Thurso] (Thurso Castle, Thurso [Scotland] to "Eddie" [Edward Marsh, Private Secretary to WSC] discussing the possibility that he might stand as a parliamentary candidate for Perth [Scotland] if a Liberal Committee was formed there, or that Coalition Liberals in Perth might support a Coalition Conservative candidate, or that he might stand for Thurso and that WSC might support him by making a speech. He also asks Marsh to give a letter to Woolcoombe to be passed to the SIS Messenger; refers to SIS report No 619 which he asks Marsh to burn after WSC has seen it and also to extracts from the Wireless Press.
