Scope and Contents

Letter from Leo Weinthal, a director of African Publications Ltd (801 Salisbury House, London Wall, London) to WSC (2 Sussex Square) referring to their recent meeting at Sir Roderick Jones's lunch to Basil Long, asking him to fix a time for discussion of the proposed history of the Cape to Cairo railway and river route, and reporting that he and Major Ewart Grogan are drawing up a plan to support WSC's Dominion Trade Development Scheme in the African World and other papers with which they are associated. Encloses a list of the consultative committee and special contributors to the history [see CHAR 2/116/125].
