Letter from "Archie" [Sir Archibald Sinclair, later 1st Lord Thurso] (Dalnawillan, Altnabraec, Caithness, [Scotland] to WSC congratulating him on his speech at Dundee [Angus, Scotland] and its reception by the press, contrasting the triumph of WSC's mandatory and colonial policies with David Lloyd George's floundering "in a morass at the Treasury" and urging him not to get stranded at the Washington Conference [United States] whilst Lloyd George remains at home at the centre. Reports that he has been approached by the chairman of the Glasgow Coalition Liberals and by local Tories and Liberals in Caithness with a view to becoming a candidate.
