Scope and Contents
Letter from [WSC] (41 Cromwell Road) to Edward Grimwood Mears giving the reasons why he wishes to examine certain witnesses before the Dardanelles Commission of Inquiry and asserting that he has enough evidence to prove: that at no time during the operation was the margin of safety of the Grand Fleet compromised; that the Admiralty had sufficient ammunition reserves; that the battleships "Majestic" and "Canopus" could be spared for bombardment duties.
