Letter from Lord Haldane [earlier Richard Haldane] (28 Queen Anne's Gate, Westminster, [London]) to WSC praising his articles [in the Sunday Pictorial] on the events leading up to the war and describing how the Kaiser [Wilhelm II] went over to the war party in Germany and how he (Haldane) had agreed with the objections of the General Staff to the raising of a Continental Army. Praises WSC's work in preparing the Navy and says he will embody the story of it in his "secret memoirs founded on the papers.".
