Letter from Prince Louis of Battenberg [later 1st Lord Milford Haven] (Kent House, East Cowes, Isle of Wight) to WSC explaining why he is reluctant to put his name to a letter to the press [drafted by WSC] responding to claims that he rather than WSC issued the order to the Fleet to stand fast in July 1914, and enclosing as an alternative a letter on the matter from him to WSC for publication [see CHAR 2/67/77].
