(Grand Hotel Chateau Bellevue, Sierre, Switzerland) to WSC on: the proposed meeting in Belfast [Ulster, Ireland] to be addressed by WSC and John Redmond; the doubtful usefulness of platform speeches before the details of the Government's proposals on Home Rule are known; the difficulties of the Irish Nationalists' position; the advisability of WSC attending the Belfast meeting alone if John Redmond and Joseph Devlin are unable to attend; his belief that in Ulster if the Government is split "it will be by the Church of Rome and the Women.".
