Scope and Contents

Letter from R Halford Forster, Representative of Randolph Churchill in the United States, to WSC, on his proposed lecture tour of the United States in the autumn of 1931, also on Randolph Churchill's current tour; commenting that Randolph had made a great impression, but had been handled very badly, blaming William Feakins, his agent, who was "not accustomed to meeting genius and charm" and had "hawked" Randolph round the country at ridiculously low fees, and that the host institutions had made money, but the agent had not.
