Scope and Contents

Telegram from Louis Alber [President, Affiliated Lecture and Concert Association Incorporated] to WSC (Nassau, Bahamas), on his interrupted lecture tour of the United States, commenting on a story in the New York Times that WSC had attended a dinner given by the Bahamas Parliament, and given a speech; reports a "rising tide of criticism" that if he could attend a function in Nassau, he could attend one in New York a week and a half later, anticipating unfavourable press comments, and urging him to return to the United States for engagements on 12 January.
