(Untitled), 11 Aug 1933
Scope and Contents
Letter from WSC to Louis Alber expressing pleasure that Alber had been appointed to head the Speakers Division of the United States National Recovery Association, looking back at his tour of the United States in 1931, where he was "not only a lecturer, but a prophet", urging the revaluation of commodities to the levels of 1928-29, the smashing of prohibition, and the ending of abuses connected with the Veterans' Bonus, rejoicing that steps had been taken to achieve these ends, stating that he was contemplating a visit to Japan in the next 2-3 years, which would fit in well with a lecture tour of the Western United States. [Carbon].
