Includes reports on various subjects by various individuals including: Sir Arthur Steel-Maitland, Minister of Labour, on industrial transference, migration to Canada; Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister [earlier Sir Philip Lloyd-Greame, later Lord Swinton], President of the Board of Trade, on amalgamation of industries; Lord Eustace Percy, President of the Board of Education, on the health of school children in distressed areas; Sir Laming Worthington-Evans, Secretary of State for War, on grants for relief of unemployment; Wilfrid Ashley [later 1st Lord Mount Temple], Minister of Transport, on concentration and anticipation. Also includes a draft report of the Committee proposing measures including an appeal to employers, amalgamation of industries and increased training.
