Includes various papers on the subject of the franchise including: a copy letter from WSC to [Stanley Baldwin] Prime Minister; 3 letters from Donald Fergusson [Private Secretary to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, WSC] on electoral qualifications and the numbers of women and men entitled to vote; a memorandum from the Home Secretary [Sir William Joynson-Hicks, later Lord Brentford] on equal franchise; a memorandum by the Registrar General [Sylvanus Vivian]; and figures for the increased numbers of people to be enfranchised.
