Scope and Contents
WSC's copies of printed Foreign Office telegrams which include bulletins of events from ambassadors and embassy staff on events around the world including: the management of the Suez canal; railway building and opium production in China; relations between Persia [later Iran] and Russia, between Turkey and Greece, Nicaragua and the United States; affairs in India including the actions of the Dalai Lama; the sovereign rights of the Ottoman empire [Turkey] in Greece; and affairs in Japan, France, Russia, Egypt, Bulgaria, South America, Italy, Norway and Spain.
