E (Engineering) Mechanical Warfare Department - Various papers, mainly on tanks, including correspondence with F Dudley Docker, Sir Eustace Tennyson d'Eyncourt and others on tank production; papers on proposed re-organization of the Tank Corps to bring it more into the Army; papers on steel production; minutes of meeting of Munitions Council Committee on the production of tanks; correspondence with Jack Seely [later Lord Mottistone], Deputy Minister of Munitions; note on condition of Mechanical Warfare Supply Department by James Maclean, Controller of the Mechanical Warfare Department.
