Includes correspondence with: [1st Lord] Riddell asking WSC to write for Country Life; Commander Oliver Locker-Lampson on the possibility of publishing WSC's speeches (3); Sir William Tyrrell and [Brigadier General] James Edmonds of the Military Branch of the Historical Section.Other subjects include: interception by the Admiralty of German information; WSC's opinion of Bismarck and permission to quote from "The World Crisis".Also includes proofs of WSC's introduction to "The Secret Battle" by Alan Herbert; a copy of a letter from WSC to Stanley Baldwin; an edition of the British Legion Journal dedicated to [Lord] Haig and an offprint of the Annual Register for 1927 with notices of "The World Crisis".
