Correspondents include: Wynford Dewhurst on his gift of a sketch to WSC (2); H Greenough Smith (3) of the Strand Magazine on subjects including WSC's articles about painting; Vice Admiral Sir Thomas Jackson about his "target book" which WSC had used to research the subject of 12 inch guns for "The World Crisis"; A E Gloyn Cox (2); Sir Walter Lamb [Secretary of the Royal Academy] about a photograph of WSC; Thornton Butterworth on the publication of Volume 3 of "The World Crisis" (2).Other subjects include the Dardanelles Commission and WSC's articles for the Nash Magazine.Also includes notes by Colonel Sir Philip Watts on WSC's involvement with the development of the tank and an offprint of an article by WSC entitled "Painting as a Pastime".
