Correspondents include: Sir George Ogilvie-Forbes [British Minister at] (Havana, Cuba) on a bound edition of the Cuban paper "El Crisol"; [Kenneth] Pepper, HM Customs and Excise, on gifts of cigars; [Alick] Harrison [Private Secretary to the Minister of Food] (2) and J Arthur Goulburn of Goulburns Limited, Food Purveyors, (4) on subjects including war savings and a gift of Stilton cheese. Also includes notes and copies of correspondence from [Prime Minister's Private Secretaries, Edith] Watson, [John] Martin, [John] Colville, John Peck, [Francis] Brown, and [Anthony] Bevir, and WSC's secretaries [Kathleen] Hill and "E S L" [Elizabeth Layton].Other subjects include: other gifts including for WSC's birthday; a gift from George Gray.Also includes: material from the Disabled Men's Handicrafts Limited and Alexandra Musical Society; various cuttings sent by Goulburn.
