Subjects include: the growth of Fascism; forms of government; reform of the second chamber [? possibly for "House of Lords or senate?" by Cuthbert Headlam and Alfred Duff Cooper, later 1st Lord Norwich, 1932, which AHM helped to research]; the aftermath of the Versailles Conference, particularly relating to Belgium, Luxembourg and Poland; German disarmament and twentieth century political history.

Also includes: pamphlets on "Mines, owners and mysteries" and "Have the small nations a right to freedom and independence?"; letters from the Workers' Educational Association and League of Nations Union; issues of the Foreign Affairs Bulletin, Aug-Oct 1937, the Bulletin of International News, June 1937 and International Conciliation, Feb 1937; summary report of a [?] Royal Institute of International Affairs study group on nationalism, Nov 1937.
