Scope and Contents
The volume of 1850 is a list of the black-letter theology books in Provost Thackeray's library, which he bequeathed to King's College. (These constituted only a small proportion of his library - viz. the 1879 list). The 1879 volume is a catalogue of the remainder of his library. Included in this looseleaf is a list of books which the College rejected.
