'British Wild Flowers', 1943 - 2021
5 notebooks of original drawings in pen and ink and coloured pencil, of plants Ingle had seen, mostly in and around Cambridgeshire. The drawings are organized in Filofax binders and accompanied by typescript notes of botanical description together with the date and place of Ingle's observation. The descriptions appear to be abbreviated versions of those in George Bentham's 'Handbook of the British Flora: A Description of Flowering Plants and Ferns' but the artwork is from another source.
