Biographical / Historical
Reginald William Pole (1887-1971) was educated at Reading and Corpus Christi, Cambridge; he transferred to King's College in 1907 with a Choral Scholarship. As an undergraduate his main interest lay in the theatre. He emigrated to California after the war, where he produced plays, wrote music and lectured to universities and clubs.
