Biographical / Historical
Hugh Owen Meredith was admitted to King's College in 1897, and earned Firsts in Classics and History as an undergraduate. He was a Fellow of King's from 1903 to 1908. From 1908 to 1911 he was the Girdlers Lecturer in Economics at Cambridge, then he served 35 years as Professor of Economics at Queen's University, Belfast.
