Letter from Walsingham to Sir Thomas Wilkes, 1583
Scope and Contents
1 autograph letter signed asking Wilkes to 'acquaint the Earl of Leicester and Lord Hunsdon with the Countess of Northumberland's petition for the release of one of her servants'. Mounted in boards with an engraving of Walsingham (1824) from a portrait, and accompanied by donation correspondence.
