File of correspondence and news cuttings documenting Sir Michael Latham's enquiries into claims made by David Irving in his book _Hitler's War_ relating to Enigma machine decryptions, and related Intelligence matters. Includes correspondence with: the then Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher; Ian Gow, Parliamentary Private Secretary; Jean Howard (former staff at Bletchley Park); David Irving, and correspondence with his publishers; Professor F H Hinsley, Master of Jesus College, Cambridge; Peter Hennessy of The Times newspaper, as well as copies of questions asked in the house by Sir Michael Latham regarding the release of Second World War intelligence documents, and a copy of a journal article by Christopher Andrew "The British Secret Service and Anglo-Soviet Relations in the 1920s" as published in _The Historical Journal_, vol. 20 no. 3 (1977).
