 Sub-Series
Reference Code: GBR/0272/RNL/2/529

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series mostly contains letters addressed to Rosamond Lehmann. However, it includes a few letters sent to Alice Marie Lehmann, Beatrix Lehmann, John Lehmann, Wogan Philipps and Wellesley Tudor Pole. There is also a sequence of letters written by Rosamond Lehmann, which were either unsent drafts, returned to her by the recipient or their heirs, or given to the Archive Centre because they hold particular relevance to her life and writing (RNL/2/341). Letters from unidentified correspondents have been placed at the end of the sequence (RNL/2/673). Letters sent to Hugo Philipps after the death of Rosamond Lehmann have been catalogued in the Posthumous Papers section (RNL/8).
