Correspondence, 1886 - 1939
Scope and Contents
This series comprises letters from the friends, family and colleagues of Nathaniel Wedd. The correspondence will be of particular interest to those studying King's at the turn of the century, and more particularly to those studying members of the college such as Oscar Browning, E.F. Bulmer, Goldsworthy Dickinson, E.M. Forster, M.R. James, J.M. Keynes and John Tresidder Sheppard.
Some pages contain annotations in John Saltmarsh's hand. Letters from the Bulmer family to Nathaniel Wedd have also been annotated with supplied dates and square brackets. It has been surmised that the Bulmer letters were temporarily returned to Harold Bulmer for the preparation of his transcripts and memoirs, and that the square brackets indicate text which should not be typed.
