The work was to be called 'King's Characters Remembered 1926-1954' but was referred to as 'Six Characters'. The work was never published, despite attempts by L P Wilkinson and his wife after his death. The six characters are Nathaniel Wedd, John Tresidder Sheppard, Arthur Cecil Pigou, John Maynard Keynes, Goldsworthy Lowes Dickinson and Edward Morgan Forster.
