Biographical / Historical
Caroe Architecture were commissioned to undertake a survey of wooden panels and pieces by Essex and Blow, once in the Chapel, which were being stored in 'The Barn' on the Barton Road. The survey was completed in April 2019. Subsequently KDK Archaeology was commissioned to analyse and 'place' the pieces, jigsaw fashion, in their historic and geographic origins. The wood was removed from the barn in May 2020.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Transfer from Oliver Caroe to the archives was by datastick in April 2019. The spreadsheet and report were printed (CutePDF and hardcopy) by the archivist at that time. The .xlsx spreadsheet was provided by KDK Archaeology to the Domus Bursar by email, forwarded to the Archivist in May 2020 and saved by her from Excel as a PDF file.
